Pitso Mosimane has celebrated Pep Guardiola for apologizing to Steven Gerrard for comments made about the former Liverpool captain.
The Manchester City manager in defending the club over alleged financial rules breaches referenced Gerrard's slip which led to Chelsea winning the league in 2014.
Pundits and critics descended on the former Barcelona manager, claiming his comments were disrespectful.
However, Guardiola apologized for his statement after leading his team to a 3-1 win over Arsenal.

"I apologise to Steven Gerrard for my unnecessary and stupid comments," said Guardiola, as quoted by BBC.
"He knows how I admire him and his career and what he has done for this country I am living and training in."
Mosimane shared his admiration for the Spaniard, praising him for showing class.
"Real men, leaders or wise men have no ego to apologise. It is very difficult to apologise, without even making a justification (esp publicly). We should not let our egos stand in front of our path to success or glory. No matter who you are, you can say, I am sorry to anybody," wrote the South African on Twitter.

Mosimane joins Al Ahli
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Pitso Mosimane's career path has seen him landing in the Middle East.

FootballThe South African will take charge of Al Ahli Saudi FC, which plays in Saudi Arabia's Second Division.
He left Al Ahly SC of Egypt back in June despite a very successful tenure with the Cairo-based outfit.

Pitso Mosimane's tenure with Saudi Arabian second division team Al-Ahli could have begun worse.
The team drew 1-1 away to arch-rivals Jeddah SC in the Jeddah Derby. Taking place at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on Wednesday night, the encounter saw Haitham Asari open the scoring for the visitors in the 26th minute.
Al Baraa Baazeem equalised for Jeddah in the 58th minute to ensure that both teams shared the spoils.
