Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira has opened up on his biggest regret during his playing career.
Vieira, a bona fide Premier League Hall of Famer, made over 400 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal, where he is regarded as a legend.
He went on to clinch three Premier League titles which included leading the north London club to an unprecedented Invincible campaign in the 2003/04 season, per GOAL.
Despite the truckload of success attained with the Gunners, the 46-year-old Frenchman has made a personal confession.

According to the former French international, he snubbed a chance to join Spanish giants Real Madrid and it has become an albatross around his neck ever since.
“I had no reason to leave Arsenal, I was comfortable there. But if I can go back in time, things would probably be different. Not joining Real Madrid is the regret of my career,” he said as quoted by Madrid Xtra.
Despite his regrets, he remains one of the most successful players at both club and national team level, winning every major title bar the Champions League.
