Kevin De Bruyne and Mikel Arteta were involved in a touchline fracas during Arsenal's Premier League clash against Man City on Wednesday night.

The top-of-table clash played at the Emirates Stadium saw City emerge the victors, with goals from De Bruyne, Jack Grealish, and Erling Haaland rendering Bukayo Saka's strike from the spot a mere consolation.

De Bruyne broke the encounter's deadlock after just 24 minutes of action before Saka restored parity for the hosts on the stroke of half-time.

De Bruyne clashes with Arteta

However, the Premier League cracker was marked with a touchline fracas pitting Arteta and De Bruyne.

The fracas was sparked after Arteta tried to kick the ball away from the Man City midfielder following a throw in.

The Mirror reports that the visitors had won a throw in after Gabriel put the ball out of play, with the Arsenal boss shielding the ball with his body and subsequently flicking it away.

De Bruyne was on course to get the get ball but caught Arteta's shins instead before he shoved the Spaniard away in frustration.

It took the intervention of both camps to bring the situation under control, with the fourth official Darren England also moving in to calm things down.

Bukayo Saka embarrasses Ederson

Sports Brief has also reported that Arsenal star Bukayo Saka showed great composure to score from the penalty spot during their game against Manchester City on February 15th.

Manchester City's goalkeeper Ederson was at fault for bringing Eddie Nketiah down in the penalty area. The Brazilian survived calls for him to be sent off. He was already on a yellow card at the time of the incident.

There was another long wait before the Englishman could take his penalty. Ederson tried to get into his head by pointing to him where he needed to place his effort.
