Manchester United were without at least seven first team players when they jetted out on Wednesday evening ahead of their crunch Europa League clash with Barcelona.
The two European giants are set to lock horns on Thursday night at the Camp Nou in the first leg of their Round of 16 tie, in the second-tier continental tournament.
United set up an epic tie with Barcelona after they finished second behind Real Sociedad in the group stages.
Barca, meanwhile, were relegated to the Europa League after an underwhelming Champions League outing that saw them finish third in their pool.

The Mirror reports that Erik ten Hag will be without a number of key players, who have been ruled out through injury and suspension.
Who missed the Man United trip?
Marcel Sabitzer and Lisandro Martinez headline a long list of players who have missed Man United's travelling party.
Martinez is understood to be injured, while Sabitzer, who is on loan from Bayern Munich, is suspended for the clash.
Ten Hag will also be without the midfield duo of Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek, who are sidelined with injuries.
Scott McTominay will also play no role in the tie, while Antony and Anthony Martial are also out with injuries.
The trio were equally nowhere to be seen in a training session prior to the Catalunya trip.
