Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been sighted in a clip speaking Arabic for what appears to be the first time since moving to the Middle East.

Ronaldo who recently turned 38 swapped Europe for Asia after inking a two-year lucrative contract with Saudi Arabia side Al-Nassr in the January transfer window.

The former Manchester United ace has sparked into life after his initial false start in the gulf region.

He appears to have finally settled into life in Saudi, scoring five goals in his last two matches including a super hattrick against Al-Wehda, per Daily Express.

Cristiano, who doubles as the captain of Al-Nassr, is set to lead Al-Nassr in their Saudi Pro League clash with Al-Taawon on Friday, February 17.

But what appears to be making the rounds on social media, is a rare footage of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner flaunting his Arabic-speaking skills.

In the said video, seen by Sports Brief, Ronaldo, wearing a beautiful smirk on his face, muttered the word "Shukran" in Arabic which means "thank you" after granting an interview.

It is worth noting that Ronaldo impressively speaks four languages and could add Arabic to his repertoire sooner than later, per YSH.

The 35-year-old was in born Argentina and grew up speaking Spanish as his country’s home language.

In a video shared on social media, Messi was sighted alongside club teammate, Marco Verratti repeating a sentence in English during an event in Paris. The PSG duo were wearing a black suit and were being shown tricks by magician, Julius Dean.

Ronaldo credited for league success

While Ronaldo is being celebrated for his multilingual abilities, he has been identified as the secret ingredient behind the Al-Nassr women's football team's league success, Sports Brief.

The veteran, who missed out on winning his first silverware with Al-Nassr after his side were eliminated in the Saudi Super Cup, was instrumental in the female side's maiden league success.

Prior to their final games toward the end of the season, the 38-year-old paid a courtesy call on the side at training.
