The fallout between Kylian Mbappe and Neymar reportedly reached new lows after Paris Saint-Germain suffered another embarrassing loss to Bayern Munich.

The Parisians saw their Champions League chances hit a roadblock after they were subdued 1-0 by the Bavarians in front of their supporters at Parc des Princes on Tuesday night.

Ahead of the return leg, Mbappe has now taken a subtle dig at Neymar in a post-match interview, insinuating that PSG has a chance of overcoming the defeat if everyone eats and sleeps well.

The 24-year-old’s comments were taken as a subtle dig at the Brazilian star, who was recently accused of hosting a late-night party on his birthday, Daily Mirror reports.

The bad blood between Mbappe and Neymar is said to date back to a feud over the order of penalty takers, after an on-field scuffle in the game against Marseille last year.

Mbappe wants playing from heart

Meanwhile, PSG star, Mbappe has urged his teammates to play with their hearts in the second leg of their Champions League clash against Bayern Munich, Goal reports.

The 24-year-old insisted the Parisians were not feeling too downcast after being beaten 1-0 by the Bavarians at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of their round of 16 clash.

Mbappe, who came off the bench in the second half after returning from injury, stated after the game that the French champions still had something to play for and needed more enthusiasm.

Sports Brief also reported on PSG suffered a third successive defeat across all competitions with an agonising 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich in the UCL on Tuesday.

The French champions, who have endured a difficult start to the calendar year, took their losing record in 2023 to five losses across all competitions.

The result could have read differently if Mbappe's equaliser had not been ruled out for offside, with VAR images proving the referee made the right call.
