The duo have been stalwarts of Madrid's success over the years, but both are in the final months of their time with Los Blancos.
What about Jude Bellingham?
As noted by Madrid Universal, the club will make a decision depending on whether they sign Jude Bellingham or not.
According to the publication, who referenced Marca, Madrid is keen on retaining Kroos and Modric but will let one go if they sign Bellingham.
Modric, already being 37 years old, is likely to not have his contract renewed by the club is Bellingham signs and if Kroos accepts a new deal.
If Bellingham signs and Kroos opts to leave, Modric will most likely be offered an extension. With Madrid looking to build toward the future, they see Bellingham as a key part of that.
