  • Kylian Mbappe has reportedly asked the club to appoint Zinedine Zidane as manager as a condition to renew his deal
  • The French legend has been out of management since 2021 since parting ways with Real Madrid in his second stint at the club
  • Zidane led the Spanish champions to the UEFA Champions League title on three occasions and to the La Liga title two times

Kylian Mbappe surely wants to remain at Paris Saint-Germain next season, but the Frenchman has set some conditions for him to extend his stay with the club.

The World Cup star only signed a new three-year deal with the Parisians in May last year, but the 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the French capital.

Nasri reveals Zidane’s dream job

Meanwhile, ex-Arsenal and Machester City star, Samir Nasri has claimed that Zidane would jump at the opportunity to manage boyhood club, Olympique Marseille, The Sun reports.

Nasri revealed that the former Real Madrid manager has little intention of ever managing in the English Premier League, dealing a blow to any potential suitors.

Following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November 2021, Zidane was heavily associated with the Manchester United position.

However, the World Cup champion turned down the opportunity, resulting in United hiring Ralf Rangnick instead.

Zidane hints at coaching return

Sports Brief also reported on Zidane providing insight on when he will return to management, after being out of job since exiting his role as Real Madrid boss.

The French legend last managed Los Blancos, vacating his position as head coach after the 2020-21 season due to contention between himself and top management.

Since vacating his post at the Spanish capital, Zidane has been linked with a number of high-profile football clubs including Paris Saint-Germain.
