Former Italy international Emanuele Giaccherini has hailed Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen describing the Napoli strongman as an incredible player following his impressive performances.

Osimhen is doing excellently well this season at Napoli and the Nigerian is also leading the goalscoring chart with 17 goals which is a superb development.

His brilliant form has made him become a target for clubs likes Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid who are now ready to make their bids in the summer.

Napoli on the other hand are aware that Osimhen is wanted by many clubs in Europe and they have offered his representatives a year extension on his contract.

“He’s an incredible player, he shifts the balance by himself. I’m thinking only 2-3 defenders in the world who would be able to stop him now, perhaps it would only take Juventus’ best (Giorgio) Chiellini.

“The Nigerian has truly incredible power and dominance. In Italy, Napoli is proving to be another level, now we will see in Europe how they will come close.

“Last year, Eintracht won the Europa League and knocked Barcelona out, so you have to be very careful.”
