Stretford Paddock, the Red Devils' most famous YouTube fanzine, joined in on giving the South African his flowers.
The popular Stephen Howson and Jay Motty were gleefully reviewing their team's victory over a hated rival when they touched on McCarthy's work.
Howson said:
"I want to watch Benni McCarthy's sessions with him."
Motty responded:
"I think that is some elite coaching right there. Give Marcus his credit because he is the one scoring the goals, but it's not a coincidence, McCarthy has come in and Marcus is the best striker ever."

The acclaimed musician was shot dead in Durban recently, with his friend, Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane also dying as a result of the shocking attack.
McCarthy and Forbes had recently become friends, with AKA - a staunch Red Devils supporter - always expressed joy that a compatriot was now playing a big part in the club's resurgence under Erik Ten Hag.
