Riyad Mahrez made light of his missed chance during a Premier League game against Aston Villa on February 12.
The Algerian missed a sitter that would have been Manchester City's fourth goal, after he skied his effort over the bar in an uncharacteristic fashion.
Pep Guardiola's side made amends after falling to a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, by steamrolling Villa in the first half at the Etihad Stadium.

It was the first game the defending champions were playing, after being charged by the English Premier League with more than 100 counts of financial wrongdoing.

Rodri opened the scoring in the fourth minute before Ilkay Gundogan added a second one after the Villa defence was caught napping again.
Mahrez scored the third from the penalty spot after Jack Grealish was fouled in the area.
The Algerian had an opportunity to get his second for the night late in the game when Julian Alvarez laid off a wonderful ball to him. The 31-year-old failed to pick either side of Emi Martinez's post after he blazed his effort over the bar.
Taking to Twitter after the game, he hilariously asked:
"Has it landed yet?" along with emojis including a satellite.
The phrase is often used to mock footballers who put their shots way over the bar. A good example is the penalty Harry Kane missed for England during the World Cup quarter-finals against France.

Gundogan decides on penalty-taker
Sports Brief earlier reported that Grealish won a contentious penalty against his former club, as Man City took on Aston Villa.
Rodri, Erling Haaland and Mahrez all lined up to take the resulting kick, before captain, Gundogan made the final decision.
Speaking after the game, Rodri revealed the conversation between the four players before the kick was given to the Algerian.
