Messi must play says Domenech

As noted by PSG Talks, former France national team manager, Raymond Domenech, believes Messi has to play if PSG are to stand a chance.

"PSG's season is based on the European Cup.
"They will be French champions with or without Messi, so Europe is everything will be decided for Paris," he said.

There's no hesitation

Domenech added that there shouldn't be any hesitation and that Messi should play even if he's not fully fit. He urged the squad to prepare the player to play, closely monitor his recovery, and see how he was progressing on the day of the game.

PSG without Mbappe

Many fans of the French club, like Domenech, will be hoping to see Messi run out onto the field against Bayern. As noted by The Mirror, PSG are already without Kylian Mbappe. The French attacker limped off against Marseille and has been ruled out of the first leg of the Round of 16 clash.

Galtier worried about Bayern clash

Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier has admitted he is worried about his side's poor run of form.

Galtier made the comments as PSG prepare for their UEFA Champions League round-of-16 tie with Bayern Munich, Sports Brief reported.

Galtier's men have endured a tough start to 2023, suffering their fourth defeat of the new year to third-placed Monaco in Ligue 1.
