Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho on Saturday afternoon, 11 February, scored and made an assist which helped his club Leicester City defeat visiting Tottenham 4-1 in EPL encounter.

It was an incredible show for the former Manchester City star who is now gradually finding his rhythm this season for his club.

Spurs went into this game with the target of them getting the win, but they met a more determined Leicester City side who did all their best to win the tie.

Despite them winning the game, the Foxes had to come back from a goal down to score four goals in the encounter.

When did Iheanacho score?

According to the report on Complete Sports, Rodrigo scored the first goal for Tottenham in the 14th minute, before Mendy restored parity in the 23rd minute.

James Maddison scored Foxes' second goal in the 25th minute before Iheanacho made it 3-0 in the 45th minute.

Harvey Barnes scored the fourth goal in the 81st minute.

Leicester City makes history

Leicester became the first team in England’s topflight history to score three first half goals in back-to-back matches despite conceding first in each game.

Meanwhile, Iheanacho and his teammates are currently occupying 13th position on the Premier League table.

Amartey praises Kelechi Iheanacho

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey praised teammate Kelechi Iheanacho after netting the winner in the FA Cup clash against Walsall.

The Nigeria forward scored to send the Foxes into the fifth round of the FA Cup, extending his record in the competition to 17 goals in 23 matches.

Iheanacho is the African player with the most goals in the FA Cup in good record.

The Ghanaian defender lauded Klechi Iheanacho for his latest mark, insisting the competition was made for the Nigerian.
