Kiernan Forbes was murdered on Friday in Durban in what many have concluded to be a hit. Tributes for the slain rapper have come in from far and wide as the nation deals with his violent death.
Memories of his past exploits have resurfaced as many a fan of his reminisces. This includes two performances on the popular sports magazine show 'Thursday Night Live With Robert Marawa' that was originally on SuperSport.
One performance was of Forbes with his great friend Da Les aka Leslie Jonathan Mampe, when they performed the hit song 'Real Stuff' back in 2016.

AKA then returned in October 2018 to perform arguably his greatest ever song 'Fela In Versace'.
Marawa himself took the time to honour the late, great rapper on Twitter in the hours after he was slain.

Social media timelines are flooded with tributes for Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes after the rapper was gunned down on Florida Road in Durban on Friday night.
AKA's death has also affected Julius Malema and Fikile Mbalula, who expressed their sorrow on Twitter.
Malema clearly in disbelief asked what was happening to South African artists in his tweet. The country recently mourned the deaths of DJ Sumbody and Vusi Ma R 5, all killed in drive-by shootings and now AKA.

Nadia Nakai became a trending topic as some people immediately thought of her when AKA's passing was announced.
One woman @_LeratoMabuza tweeted that Nadia was pregnant and the post went viral with close to 1 million views.
