Memphis Depay claims Manchester United plays boring football

Former Manchester United star Memphis Depay has lashed out at the Premier League side claiming their styles of football is so boring for players.
Depay did not enjoy active playing time at Manchester United, spending only 18 months at the club before he left Old Trafford in 2017 to Lyon.

Before sealing his dream move to Manchester United in 2015, the winger enjoyed a glittering campaign with Dutch side, PSV.
At the time, he scored 28 goals before former Red Devils' boss Louis van Gaal signing him for the Old Trafford dwellers.
But he could only score two goals in 33 Premier League appearances for Manchester United before ex manager Jose Mourinho ending his stay with the Premier League giants.
Depay has now opened up over his harrowing experience at Manchester United criticizing both Van Gaal and Mourinho’s tactics.

“I was convinced I could add something that wasn’t there yet. Creativity. Boldness. Moves.
“Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the world. In name. But for years, they played football that put you to sleep,'' Depay explained according to report on UK Sun.
The 25-year-old forward went on to rediscover his spark in the French Ligue one where he has re-established himself as a hot prospect in Europe
In his three-year stay in Lyon. he has netted 34 goals, setting up 30 others in more than 70 appearances.
