Unemployed Premier League winner now plays kick-abouts in hopes of finding new club
FootballPotter Tight-Lipped Over Aubameyang’s Chelsea Exit Rumours
- Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wants out of the club just months after joining from Barcelona
- The Gabonese was signed by Thomas Tuchel who has left the club after just one game together
- He was denied a move away in January by FIFA rules and subsequently left out of the Champions League squad
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was a Thomas Tuchel-endorsed signing last summer, with the striker narrowly making the move minutes to the close of the window on deadline day.
He played only 59 minutes against Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League group opener before the German manager was dismissed the following morning and replaced by Graham Potter.
He has not been at the best of form under the English manager scoring three goals and assisting just one in 17 games, the majority of which have come from the bench, with reports claiming Potter does not trust the former Arsenal man.
Potter quiet on Auba rumours
According to multiple reports, most notably from Goal, Chelsea and MLS side Los Angeles Football Club have an agreement over a loan deal for Auba, with Chelsea ready to pay his full wages.

As reported by talkSPORT, a move away from Chelsea in January failed to materialise because of the FIFA rule that does not permit a player to play for more than two clubs in a season, but a loophole in that means he can move to MLS.
Speaking during his press conference ahead of tomorrow's game against West Ham, as quoted by Metro UK, head coach Potter said there was no update on the Gabonese, and he continues to train professionally.
‘‘Nothing to report. He has been training well with us this week. He is a really good professional, supporting his teammates and while he is here he is doing what he is expected to do, which is train wel and act well,’’ he said.

FootballThis, however, does not mean a move can not be done. As reported by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, it is just a green light from the player away from completion.
Barcelona rule out signing Aubameyang
Sports Brief earlier reported that Barcelona have ruled out signing Aubameyang in the summer despite reported interest in bringing back the Gabonese, who spent six months at Camp Nou back.
The financial situation at Barcelona is undoubtedly why the move can not materialise, as the striker endeared himself to head coach Xavi and the fans in his few months in Spain.
At 33 and due to his high salary, his options are limited, and with a move to the USA on the cards, it could be his last move before calling it quits on his career.
