Real Valladolid has been applauded by the authorities following the club’s swift move in identifying the supporters that racially abused Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior.
Vinicius suffered racial abuse from some Valladolid supporters when the Brazilian was being substituted during Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory in December.
According to Football Espana, Real Valladolid, led by President Ronaldo Nazario, were fast to offer assistance and identify the 12 fans involved, and they are now facing a one-year ban

The supporters also will get a €4000 fine as a result of their actions as the La Liga club maintains a hard stance against racism in their stadium.
Vinicius has been the target of racial insults on many occasions this season in Spain, with Valladolid, Atletico Madrid, and Real Mallorca all targeting the 22-year-old Brazilian.
La Liga star admits Vinicius will be provoked
Meanwhile, Athletic Bilbao midfielder Dani Garcia admits he went too far with his treatment of Vinicius Junior when facing Real Madrid this season, Tribal Football reports.
Garcia admitted he got overly excited which led to him provoking the Brazilian forward in the entirety of the match against the La Liga champions.
The Athletic Bilbao midfielder also didn’t absolve Vinicius of all blame as he insisted the Real Madrid forward is also guilty of provoking his opponents during matches too.

FootballEarlier, Sports Brief reported La Liga has once again announced that they will investigate racial abuse leveled at Vinicius Juniors after the Real Madrid attacker was targeted by fans and players of Mallorca during Los Blancos' last fixture.
The league authorities will conduct an investigation into who was responsible for racist chants heard within the stadium.
La Liga has previously opened investigations into other incidents of racism directed at the player, but none of these investigations have produced any results as yet.
