Not many players can boast having played alongside both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo at club level.
Former Barcelona player, Gerard Pique is one footballer who has had that honour and he's now opened up on who the greatest of the two is.
As reported by Give Me Sport, Pique praised Ronaldo for his work ethic but admitted Messi was the best.

He added that the Argentine winning the 2022 World Cup at 35 further proved his talent.
Pique played alongside the veteran at Barcelona and with Ronaldo at Manchester United. He also admitted the battle between the two has been impressive to watch and he ceded they had both done well.
Pique also touched on his relationship with Messi, saying he didn't congratulate his former teammate on winning the World Cup, because he was disconnecting himself from the sport following his retirement and didn't watch any of the games in full.
The Spanish defender and the Argentine forward's relationship has deteriorated over the years, amid reports Pique encouraged Barcelona's board not to renew Messi's contract in 2021.
