Roma boss Jose Mourinho has appeared to hit out at football stars cutting holes in their socks in what has now become a growing trend.
Footballers making holes in their socks in the calf region has become the norm in recent years, with Jude Bellingham and Arsenal ace Bukayo Saka among the stars to copy the trend.
It has widely been suggested that the holes are meant to reduce the pressure build-up caused by the clothing.
This, in return, is believed to improve the blood flow around the calf, helping footballers to avoid getting a cramp and discomfort.
