Donnarumma's deleted tweet
Donnarumma then took to Twitter to celebrate the win, saying"
"Three points in the bag."
He also shared photos of the team celebrating, with particular attention paid to Matthijs de Ligt. The tweet was deleted soon after, but not before it was screenshotted.
Donnarumma's mistake explained
Bavarian Football Works has now explained that it wasn't Donnarumma who shared the tweet in the first place. The PSG keeper shares the same agent as de Ligt; therefore, the duo has the same social media manager.
De Ligt's celebratory tweet was accidentally shared on Donnarumma's Twitter account, with the Bayern player's post seen below.
Fans confused by Donnarumma's post
Naturally, many fans were confused by the post, with some assuming that the screenshot of the deleted tweet was actually photoshopped.
Others assumed Donnarumma was trying to butter up Bayern so that he could make a move to the German side.
