Bayern Munich have insisted they will not go overboard when sanctioning Manuel Neuer after the goalkeeper criticized the Bundesliga club in a recent interview.
Neuer had come under heavy criticism after he took a swipe at the hierarchy at Bayern following the club’s decision to fire long-serving goalkeeper coach Toni Tapalovic.
According to Sportskeeda, Bayern president Herbert Hainer has stated that the Bundesliga club would not follow Manchester United's lead on Cristiano Ronaldo and terminate Manuel Neuer's contract.

Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn, sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, and coach Julian Nagelsmann have all criticized the injured goalkeeper for slamming the club in the media, ESPN reports.
Neuer had referred to the dismissal of goalkeeping coach Toni Tapalovic as "the worst thing I've experienced in my career" during an interview that appeared in the Suddeutsche Zeitung newspaper.
