  • Manchester United moved to within just seven points of league leaders Arsenal after their 2-1 win over Crystal Palace
  • The Gunners suffered a title blow on Saturday after they were stunned 1-0 by Everton at Goodison Park
  • Man City suffered a similar slip-up on Sunday during their trip to Tottenham where they lost 1-0 courtesy of Harry Kane's solitary goal
  • Despite the two teams' gaffe, Gary Neville does not see the Red Devils challenging for the Premier League title

Gary Neville has rated Manchester United's chances of winning the Premier League after both Man City and Arsenal dropped points over the weekend.

The Red Devils were the biggest gainers among the top four teams as they are the only team that picked maximum points from matchweek 22.

Arsenal, meanwhile, were humbled by a similar scoreline by struggling Everton at Goodison Park, with James Tarkowski scoring the only goal of the match.

Neville's EPL prediction

Despite Arsenal's and Man City's slip-up in the Premier League, Neville still contends that Man United will fall short in their bid to win the crown.

According to the United legend, the Red Devils will also suffer from the absence of Christian Eriksen, who recently suffered an ankle injury.

"Are we in with a chance again? Look, I don’t think Manchester United will get there, I think they will fall short," Neville said on his Sky Sports Podcast.
"They’re just not quite there and the Christian Eriksen injury will hurt, but they’re doing really, really well and they’re competing again," he added.

Greenwood's Man United return

Sports Brief had earlier reported that the name star boy is often misused nowadays but take it from us, Mason Greenwood was one.

His precision and awareness in front of the goal were beyond his years. So much so that he was christened the next Robin Van Persie. For fans and pundits to compare you with the legendary Dutchman, then there is something you are doing right.

Everything was going right in his career. He had already nailed his place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's starting eleven. Not only was he playing regularly but also came up with important goals for the Red Devils.
