FootballRonaldo Accused of Making Life Difficult for Saudi Club Al-Nassr
- Cristiano Ronaldo departed Europe and sealed a blockbuster move to Saudi Pro League
- He signed for Al-Nassr on a two and half year contract reportedly worth £170m per year
- He is yet to settle in the Arab country and is already getting stick from his new teammates
Cristiano Ronaldo put the troubles of the European leagues behind him when he made a lucrative move to the Middle East to play in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Nassr.
He had a tumultuous final month at Manchester United which was capped by his explosive interview with Piers Morgan which ultimately led to his contract termination at the club that brought him onto the scene in Europe.
His time in his new environment has not gone quite well early enough, having just scored his first goal from the spot last week, even though he scored twice against PSG as part of Riyadh XI weeks ago.
Ronaldo accused of difficulty by teammate
When you prepare to play a team that has Cristiano Ronaldo, you prepare differently. Speaking after Tottenham's 3-2 loss to Manchester United last year, as quoted by Athletic UK, Antonio Conte said his team lost to the Portuguese who got a hat-trick, and not the club.

This however is proving to be a curse for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner in a foreign continent as he had been accused by a teammate, he makes things difficult for them as other teams prepare harder to face them because they have him.
“Certainly the presence of Cristiano makes it difficult for us as all teams seek to participate against him in the best possible way, and he gives motivation to everyone [on the opposition].” Luis Gustavo told RT Arabic, as quoted by Express.

FootballHe also praised his influence in the same interview claiming he is an advantage as he is a player they learn from greatly.
“His presence at Al-Nassr gives a great advantage to the group because we learn from him everyday, given the great capabilities he possesses, both technically and physically. Cristiano Ronaldo was created for challenges and he always succeeds in them,” he added.
Juventus gives Ronaldo hilarious birthday wish
While members of a team may have been spotting problems in the former Real Madrid star, one of his former clubs celebrated his 38th birthday yesterday differently.
As earlier by Sports Brief, Juventus gave him a hilarious birthday wish with a video compilation of some of his moments at Turin uploaded on TikTok and added a distorted happy birthday song to it.
His time at the Italian giants was successful, winning the title twice, as well as winning the golden boot and best player once each.
