Manchester United players have reportedly rejected the idea of bringing back Mason Greenwood to the squad.
Greenwood has been suspended by the club for over a year as investigations and subsequent court proceedings took place over his alleged sexual assault case.
The charges have been since been cleared by the Crown Protection Services paving the way for a likely return for the young striker.
Manchester United released a statement thereafter promising to provide a clear way forward on the future of Greenwood once internal investigations were complete.

Even as this happens, it has now emerged that some players of the Manchester United squad are not happy with the idea of reintegrating the 21-year-old back into the fold.
The Sun reports that the players would welcome the English back but there are concerns that Greenwood's readmission could derail the squad that has made so much progress under Erik ten Hag this season.
Ten Hag's rebuild
The Dutch manager started his reign at Old Trafford on a rocky path with two back-to-back losses but has since transformed the Red Devils to become an outside contender for the Premier League title this season.
