CIES Football Observatory have named Ousmane Dembele as the world’s best dribbler for 2023.

According to the independent research organisation, the Barcelona forward is currently the player with the most effective take-on, beating the likes of Vinicius Junior and Lionel Messi.

Dembele, who is currently sidelined due to injury, has made 18 league appearances for Barcelona this season, scoring five goals and providing five assists.

Dembele scored the top 100.0 points, closely followed by Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior, who had 98.7 points and Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne placed third on 98.4 points.
