Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s career hit a new low after he was omitted from Chelsea’s Champions League squad for the knockout stages.
Graham Potter appeared to have left out the former Arsenal man to pave way for the new Chelsea signings Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk and Joao Felix, who all made the list.
Defender Benoit Badiashile was also missing from the squad.
Aubameyang was also snubbed from the matchday squad in Chelsea’s Premier League encounter against Fulham, further fueling speculation that he is surplus to requirements at the club.

Potter admitted it was not the easiest of decisions to leave out Aubameyang, but expects there to be no rift between the two.
"I don't think it's going to be difficult because Pierre is a professional," He said as quoted on Sky Sports.
"He's done nothing wrong at all. Pierre's just unfortunate. He'll be fighting for his place for the rest of the season."
Auba in Milan?
It appears the Gabon international knew he would not make the matchday squad on Friday, February 3 as he was pictured alongside his brother Willy in Milan in a photo posted just before the West London derby, as per The Mirror.
Unfortunately for Aubameyang, he cannot leave Chelsea until the summer despite the fact that some transfer windows across Europe are still open.
