- A striker and a new goalkeeper are high on the list for Graham Potter's charges
Chelsea owners are reportedly ready to break the bank once again in the summer by bankrolling the signing of new players.
The Todd Boehly-led club has spent over 500 million euros since taking over last summer. They have been the busiest club in the top five leagues with close to 8 new players arriving in January alone.
Enzo Fernandez was the latest recruit on deadline day with the club forking out a British record fee for the Argentina midfielder.
Now even before the dust settles, Chelsea is plotting another summer spending spree as Evening Standard reports. The club now has a full-working sporting department under Paul Winstanley, has identified areas that need to be addressed in the summer.

Massive clear out
To achieve this, the Blues will embark on a massive clear out with many current players expected to leave.
Top of the list is an out-and-out number 9 with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang expected to leave the club. The club has already agreed on a deal with RB Leipzig for Christopher Nkunku but the Frenchman is not a typical centre-forward.
The club will also address the goalkeeper situation. Edouard Mendy is said to have rejected the terms he was offered and he could be a prime target to leave. Gabriel Slonina was signed from the Major League Soccer but at only 18, he could be sent out on loan to get more experience.
Boehly could also look to add another centre-back after the purchases of Kalidou Koulibaly, Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana. Thiago Silva's advanced age has always been a concern but the Brazilian has continued to put in sublime performances.

FootballMoises Caicedo again?
With N'Golo Kante's contract expiring in the summer, the club will also look for another midfielder. Moises Caicedo remains a potential target.
The club will need to sell a lot of players to remain in good standing with the Financial Fair Play rules. Homegrown players such as Conor Gallagher, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek could all leave at the end of the season.
Head Coach Graham Potter was given a long-term contract and it is understood he will be given the required time to work with his new players.
The Chelsea stars who could leave
Sports Brief had earlier reported that the upcoming summer transfer window could be marked with several exits at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea in line to lose a couple of players.
Chelsea had a busy window in January that saw them splash over £300million on eight new signings, with Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Joao Felix among the top players who moved to the Premier League.
The unprecedented spending spree could now see the need to offload some players regarded as surplus to requirements heightened.
