They narrowly missed out on Champions League qualification last year and have reinforced their squad most notably with the addition of Manchester City duo Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandar Zinchenko, both of whom have made instant impact at the club.

The Japanese defender hailed Mikel Arteta's football knowledge and acknowledged him as the best manager he has ever played under.
“Mikel knows about football, he knows about football structure, [he knows] everything. Our job is to just explain on the pitch what he says. I believe him. He’s just amazing. He’s the best manager I’ve ever played with,” he added.
He is behind Ben White, whom he hailed as the best in the world at the right back position, as noted by Football London. He is also sometimes deployed as a left back.
