  • Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu has told Southampton fans that he can't wait to start playing for them
  • The Super Eagles strongman made the move to the Premier League from Genk where he was king of goals
  • Onuachu will have big responsibility to carry with the Saints who are rooted at the bottom of the table

Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has sent a cheering message to Southampton fans claiming that he can't wait to join the team and start scoring goals for them in the Premier League.

The Saints have not been finding their campaign rosy this term in the Premier League as they currently occupy 20th position and have won only four games so far.

Scoring goals have been the major problem of Southampton and this made the club's chiefs to go for Onuachu who find netting goals easy considering his records in the Belgian League.

Onuachu scores four goals

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu scored all four goals for Genk as they defeated Sporting Charleroi 4-1 in a crucial Belgian Pro League encounter.

The Nigerian international opened his account in the game from the penalty spot and then completed his brace before halftime.

The 28-year-old then found the back of the net again in the 71st minute before scoring a fourth in stoppage time.

Onuachu has now made history as the first Genk player to score four goals in a single game since 2003.
