FootballVideo of AmaZulu Handball and Even Worse Refereeing Reaches Millions of Views

- The ABSA Premiership match between rivals AmaZulu and Golden Arrows saw an extraordinary sequence of events
- Bongi Ntuli deliberately handled the ball, before somehow being awarded with a penalty hardly seconds later
Bongi Ntuli will go down in history as the only footballer to pull off anything as devious as Diego Maradona's 'Hand Of God'.
During the 2018/19 ABSA Premiership season, Ntuli's team AmaZulu were taking on Lamontville Golden Arrows in a KwaZulu-Natal derby, at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium.
A grainy video showed Ntuli deliberately dribbling the ball around an Arrows defender using his hands - like one would in basketball!
The stunned opponent and teammates in the immediate vicinity stopped to look at the uninterested referee in confusion and protest.

The opportunistic Ntuli then raced into the Arrows 18-yard area, before promptly drawing a stonewall penalty in the most ironic of endings to the madness.
Fittingly, though unfairly, he slotted the penalty to complete his brace and set Usuthu off to a 2-0 win.
Staggeringly, the video has now been viewed around 5.3-million times on Twitter.
'It was the worst decision'
Ridiculous. Absolutely laughable. These are the words one can only use to describe a terrible decision that was made by the match officials, during a KwaZulu-Natal derby between Royal AM and AmaZulu in the DStv Premiership in early January.
Thwihli Thwahla wing, Motebang Sera soundly beat Usuthu goalkeeper, Veli Mothwa with a fierce swerving shot. However, the ball hit the underside of the crossbar before harmlessly bouncing away.

FootballConfusingly, the referee blew the whistle and while everyone assumed there had been a foul inside the box, it then dawned on players and coaches that he and his assistant had somehow awarded a goal.
Durban star dumped by AmaZulu president
Sports Brief earlier reported that AmaZulu president, Sandile Zungu's eyes must have popped out when he picked up a tabloid recently.
The club's chief was excoriated and hung out to dry by Slindile Wendy Ndlovu, the breakout star of season three of the smash hit reality television series, Real Housewives of Durban.
She alleged that Zungu promised to 'put a ring on it', but then put her out to pasture without warning.
