Footballers during and after their professional careers are different humans to what is seen on the pitch. While some go on to live successful lives, some others become despicable members of society.
For a former Arsenal player, he has become a nuisance to the society with various reckless behaviours of violence, traffic offences and illegal substance related offences already up on his sleeves.
Karma has however caught up with him and he is set to be charged to court in Dublin this Friday, after he was re-arrested by the police in a chase driving as reported by Sun UK.
Anthony Stokes charged to court
As revealed by Sports Illustrated, Anthony Stokes was arrested yesterday, January 31, after he refused to stop for the police and drove recklessly with the police giving him a hot chase.

He was first arrested on January 6 and was granted bail after a day in custody for illegal substance possession, suspected to be worth about €4,000.
This is one of the many past offences of the former Sunderland player, as noted by Sun UK, in 2013, he attacked Anthony Bradley at a pub and gave him a broken nose, as well as sending offensive text to ex-girlfriend in 2019.

Former Liverpool player jailed for illegal substances
Sports Brief earlier reported that a former Liverpool player was jailed for eight years for narcotics trafficking in his home country of Wales.
Layton Maxwell was jailed for his involvement with dealers after allowing his house to be used as a store, he pleaded guilty to charges and was sentenced.
He was a former teammate of Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher as well as working briefly as an engineer with Vodafone.
