Chelsea legend, John Terry has brutally mocked Piers Morgan over comments on the title race and club's spending.
The January transfer window came to a close with the Blues astonishing many with their heavy spending.
Terry, a former captain, was not amused and jumped to the defence of the club.
Chelsea spent over 400-million euros on transfers in January alone, with Enzo Fernandez becoming the latest player. The Argentine was signed for a club and British record fee from Benfica.

Chelsea's transfer activities
The Blues' manoeuvres in the transfer market have been more astute than their performance on the pitch this season. Graham Potter's side are stuck in 10th place after a disappointing run of results.
Morgan jumped in to remind Chelsea that no matter how much they spend, they are still miles from Arsenal, who currently lead the EPL table. The controversial journalist is a known fan of Cristiano Ronaldo and the Gunners.
"Reminder to Chelsea fans: we’re top of the League, you’re 10th, and we’re 21pts ahead of you with a game in hand. So spend all the gazillions you want but what you REALLY need to buy is a telescope to look up at Arsenal," said Morgan on his Twitter account.
Terry fires back at Morgan
Terry did not take the sentiments lightly and fired back at Morgan, bringing the issue of trophies won into the equation.

Football"You have gone missing for 20 years! And you still have a long way to go... I have won more trophies since I retired from playing golf than Arsenal have," he quipped.
The rivalry between the two clubs is clearly visible.
Terry led a very illustrious career in West London which climaxed in Champions League triumph in 2012. His last Premier League title was in 2017.
Arsenal meanwhile, last won the EPL crown in 2004.
Terry mocks Zimbabwean fan
The Chelsea legend is not one to lie down when he is taking punches. As Sports Brief reported, a Zimbabwean football fan learned this the hard way.
The social media user Pakuru corrected Terry for an error in his post on social media, with the former Blues skipper hitting back with a mocking response.
During his active playing time, Terry was one of the best defenders in the world, winning the Premier League and Champions League titles at Chelsea.
