Barcelona has gotten victory over La Liga in court following the ongoing tussle over the registration of 18-year-old midfielder Gavi.
The Catalan giants had dragged the league body to a commercial court after La Liga denied their request to register Gavi to the club’s first team because of their ‘expected’ monetary deficit for the summer.

However, La Liga has the right to appeal the judge's decision, which might further stall Barcelona's case to register Gavi who has become a key player under Xavi.
Gavi’s new Barcelona contract will likely include a €1billion release clause as the Catalan giants hope to tie down the 18-year-old to a long contract at Camp Nou.
La Liga president reveals Barcelona’s deficit
Meanwhile, La Liga president, Javier Tebas has stated that Barcelona is not complying with the financial fair play regulations which is shown in the club’s deficit, Football Espana reports.
Tebas disclosed that Barcelona’s expected deficit for next season will cross €200million and has advised the Catalan club to reduce its wage bill.
Barcelona will face transfer limitations since they will only be able to spend 40 percent of the money they bring in through sales or save on new transfers or contracts if they reject Tebas' advice.
