The keeper did see the ball bounce in front of him but failed to deal with it. Muller tried to palm the ball away but merely deflected it into his own net.
Szoboszlai on fire
While Muller fielded a lot of the blame for the first goal, there was no denying that Szoboszlai deserved credit for the second. The Leipzig star volleyed the ball into the bottom corner of the net in the 49th minute of the game to give the hosts a 2-0 lead.
Szoboszlai loves scorign against Stuttgart
Szoboszlai's brace was only the second time that he's scored a brace in the Bundesliga. Ironically, the last time he scored two in a game, it was against Stuttgart as well.
Olmo scores for RB Leipzig
Dani Olmo has produced one of the craziest goals you're likely to see this season in any league.
The Spanish international scored an absolute stunner for RB Leipzig, as they ran riot over Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga.
With Leipzig already 4-1 up, Olmo produced a slow-motion shot which fooled Alexander Schwolow in the Schalke goal, Sports Brief reported.
Bayern held at RB Leipzig
A second-half equaliser from RB Leipzig defender Marcel Halstenberg helped RB Leipzig hold Bayern Munich to a 1-1 home draw on Friday in the first Bundesliga match since the winter break.
Bayern looked on course for their seventh straight Bundesliga win after striker Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting scored in the 37th minute, but Halstenberg levelled in the 52nd minute.
Veteran Bayern forward Thomas Mueller had a chance to win the match in injury time with a shot from point-blank range but dragged his effort just wide.
