Nigerian international, Odion Ighalo has stated that Portuguese legend, Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest footballer of all time.
The superstar recently dumped Manchester United to move to Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia, where he will be playing in the Saudi Pro League with Ighalo, who joined Al-Hilal last summer.
A selected team from the capital of Riyadh hosted Lionel Messi’s Paris Saint-Germain recently, but Ighalo missed out on pairing with Ronaldo in the attack due to injury.
Ronaldo scored a brace in the encounter and Messi was also on the scoresheet, in a highly-entertaining encounter which ended 5-4 in favour of the Parisians.

Nigerian journalist, Oma Akatugba was at the game and was spotted with Ighalo, who had to watch from the stands.
After the game, the two spoke, with the Nigerian player acknowledging Ronaldo’s greatness.
He told Oma Sports TV:
“Ronaldo is a legend. He is the best, for me, he’s the GOAT. I have too much respect for him, admiration for him."
Ighalo wished Ronaldo everything of the best at Al-Nassr, but cautioned he would also put in the work for Al-Hilal.
“He is going to play for his own team and he will score goals and me, I am going to play for my own team and I will score goals... We will see at the end of the season.”

It was a moment for legends of the game to reunite, as superstars from all over the world gathered to be part of activities marking the Saudi Arabian festival also known as 'Riyadh Seasons'.
In a clip shared by the Nigerian journalist on Instagram, Ighalo looked a little confused when he was served a local delicacy.
