On a night of too many brilliant goals, Carlos Soler’s sole strike for Paris Saint-Germain tops the rest, as the French champions cruised past amateur side Pays de Cassel.
PSG blasted seven brilliant goals past the French sixth-tier side to book a round of 16 spot in the French Cup, in an extraordinary night for Christophe Galtier’s men.
With the French champions already leading 5-0 thanks to a brilliant hat-trick from Kylian Mbappe, Soler got on the scoresheet to pile more misery on Pays de Cassel.
The 26-year-old Spaniard showed his brilliance after converting using his backheel, while being crowded by the opposition defenders.

Soler’s goal was his fourth for PSG this season and his first in the French Cup, after joining the Ligue 1 champions from Valencia last summer.
Mbappe scores five in Coupe
Meanwhile, Mbappe scored five goals as PSG ran riot against sixth-tier side, Pays de Cassel to reach the last 16 of the French Cup, BBC reports.
The minnows had already won three games to reach the last 32, and managed to hold out for 29 minutes before the French star opened the scoring.
Neymar scored four minutes later, before Mbappe added two more before the break - on either side of Soler's strike - to set up a tie against Marseille.
