Whereas Harambee Stars will be buoyed by home support ahead of the return leg, the tie may turn out to be a blessing in disguise for Tanzania as victory or a goalscoring draw will earn then progression.
Be that as it may though, Kenya still come into the match as clear favourites owing to their recent dominance over their East African neighbours.

Meanwhile, unlike his Tanzanian compatriot, Sebastien Migne has no injury concerns and will have a fully-fit squad to select a strong line-up from.
However, the Frenchman's main headache could be in the attackline, and will be hoping the call up of Tusker hitman Boniface Muchiri will boost the forward line with creativity.
As for Taifa Stars, they will have to contend with the absence of injured goalkeeper Aishi Manula, David Mwantika and Ibrahim Ajibu.
