FootballOshoala Nets As Barcelona Femeni Beat Sociedad To Win Super Cup
Barcelona Femení have been crowned champions of the Spanish Women’s Super Cup after beating Real Sociedad 3-0 on Sunday, 22 January, with Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala netting the third goal.
It was a good win for Oshoala and her teammates who have now won the title for the second season running and extend their unbeaten run in domestic competitions to 58 games.
The victory for Barcelona Femeni came just a week after the club's male team defeated Real Madrid in the final of the Super Cup played in Saudi Arabia.
How it happened
Aitana Bonmati scored the first goal in the 13th minute, and registered the second in the 47th minute before Oshoala got her own in the 97th minute.

According to the report on Thisday, Oshoala and her teammates have now won the Super Cup in three of the four years since it was created in 2020.
Oshoala nets brace for Barcelona Femeni
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala on Saturday night, 14 January, continued with her impressive form this season for Barcelona netting brace against Sporting Huelva.
It was a good win for Oshoala and her teammates who recorded an emphatic 3-0 win over the hosts in what was a tough encounter.
