Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly agreed to become head of FIFA's technical department but an official announcement has not been made.
Since the Frenchman left the Premier League giants, he has failed to get another club to manage, although he made it clear that he rejected many offers.
Wenger has however been seen in some punditry job where he confirmed many times that he would soon return to management.
And going by the new development on New York Times, it appears that Wenger won't be joining any club in Europe or any other continent, but to work with world football governing body FIFA.

The former Monaco coach is expected to suggest improvements to coaching standards across the world in his imminent appointment with FIFA.
Meanwhile, the report added that FIFA's spokesman declined to comment on the latest development linking Wenger with FIFA.
Earlier, Tuko.co.ke had reported how Arsene Wenger, former Arsenal boss, revealed he rejected a return to the club because he does not want to eclipse his successor and current manager Unai Emery.
Wenger left his role at Arsenal at the end of the 2017/18 season, but has not been back to the Emirates Stadium, even to see a match.
