Kenya vs Tanzania: Taifa Stars trio to miss match
- Three Taifa Stars players have been ruled out of the side's return match against Kenya
- The players include goalkeeper Manula, Mwantika and Ajibu
- Aggregate winner of the tie will face Sudan
Tanzania national team, Taifa Stars, will be without three key players when they face Kenya in a 2020 CHAN qualification second leg match to be played on Sunday, August 4, in Nairobi.
The two teams played to a goalless draw in Dar Es Salaam, and once again renew rivalry with a ticket to the next qualification round at stake.

Tanzania has been dealt a blow after it was confirmed that first-choice keeper Aishi Manula who turns out for Simba, defender David Mwantika of Azam FC and midfielder Ibrahim Ajib will miss the match.
The team has since named Ally Yusuf, Godfrey Masai, and Haruna Shamte to take their places, but remains to be seen if they will walk straight to the starting line-up.
“The players who were eliminated from the squad due to injuries were David Mwantika, Aishi Manula and Ajib Ibrahim. They have been replaced by Mohamed Ally Yusuf (Lipuli), Oscar Godfrey Masai (Azam FC) and Haruna Shamte (Lipuli),” a statement from TFF confirmed.

Meanwhile, Kenya has included Boniface Muchiri of Tusker and Kevin Omondi of Kakamega Homeboyz in the squad.
The aggregate winner of the tie will face Sudan in the second and final qualification round of the competition.
