Joshua Barnett, agent of Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, has poured cold water on reports linking his client to the Premier League.

Camavinga made some valuable contributions towards the end of the 2021/22 campaign, helping Real Madrid win La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.

But the Frenchman has seen his game time considerably reduce this campaign with reports of Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti unhappy with his performance.

This has birthed reports of the 20-year-old midfielder appearing on the radar of Premier League clubs - Chelsea and Arsenal.

According to 90min, Arsenal and Chelsea have both asked Real Madrid about the availability of Camavinga this month.

However his agent, Joshua Barnett has squashed reports linking the former Rennes star to the Premier League.

“There’s no truth. Of course, every club in the world would want him, but he’s very happy in Real Madrid and Real Madrid are very happy with Camavinga,” he told transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly fed up with Eduardo Camavinga and is prepared to exile the French midfielder from his first team.

Camavinga had a game to forget in the Spanish Super Cup final, as the Spanish champions were defeated 3-1 by arch-rivals Barcelona, with Ancelotti forced to substitute the Frenchman at half-time for his poor performance.

According to Sportskeeda, the 20-year-old midfielder completed only 68 per cent of his passes and lost possession 11 times against the Catalan giants, frustrating Ancelotti and his Real Madrid teammates.
