A respected Eswatini referee has confessed to the brutal slaying of his wife.
Referee Lucky ‘Makalakalane’ Ndlangamandla, a seasoned professional in the Eswatini Premier League, was arrested and charged with the murder of his wife on Wednesday morning.
The Swazi Observer covered the gruesome details of the killing, stating that Ndlangamandla stabbed the unnamed woman more than 20 times, in what is believed to have been a fit of rage.
According to witnesses, the couple were involved in a heated argument in the early hours of that fateful morning before the incident occurred. The 45-year-old is reported to have confessed to the killing according to another article from the same publication.

He has since appeared in court, with further details to be finalised by both his defence, the prosecution and the bench.
