A video of Chelsea's women's football team striker, Lauren James destroying defenders has left fans stunned.

The 21-year-old is the sister of Blues defender and England international, Reece James.

But unlike her brother who plays in defence, Lauren plays as a striker in the Women's Super League.

With a senior career spanning more than five years, Lauren has been able to make a name for herself. Her goal scoring prowess has afforded her a spot among some of the best women strikers in the world.

It is her athleticism and epic dribbling skills that have caught the eye of many supporters.

TikTok user @barclayswsl recently shared a compilation of some of Lauren's best dribbles, leaving fans stunned.

One commented:

"Reece James wasn’t joking when he said she’s technically better than some prem players."

A second noted:

More on James' football career

Lauren started off her career with Chelsea's youth team in 2010, before she was scouted by Arsenal in 2017.

She went on to make her senior debut for the Gunners in that year, but moved to Manchester United after just one season.

After spending close to four years with United, she made a return to Chelsea in 2021.

The striker has scored five goals so far this season, with three of those coming in the Women's Super League after nine appearances.

James names three toughest players

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Chelsea defender, Reece James naming three players who he's struggled against the most as a defender.

In a Twitter Q&A via the Mirror, the Englishman was asked about the toughest players he has ever faced, and he named some top names in European football.

In his reply tweet, James stated the three players on his list were all left-wingers and singled out Vinicius Junior, Rafael Leao and Sadio Mane.
