Liverpool's struggles continue

Meanwhile, Liverpool's struggles in the Premier League continued on Saturday, after they suffered a humiliating defeat 3-0 against Brighton.

The loss left them languishing in ninth on the log with 28 points, and level on points with 10th-placed Chelsea, who stunned Crystal Palace 1-0 on Sunday.

Kai Havertz's sole goal in the second half of the match was enough to ease the pressure off the Blues and coach, Graham Potter.

Meanwhile, West Ham United, Everton and Southampton are all locked in the relegation zone, with the Saints sitting bottom with 15 points.

Ramsdale attacked by Spurs fan

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the Tottenham Hotspur versus Arsenal clash in the Premier League was marked by unsportsmanlike scenes after the final whistle.

In a shocking display, one of the Spurs fans was caught on camera appearing to kick Arsenal goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale shortly after the match.

The match had ended in a 2-0 win for the Gunners, with Hugo Lloris gifting Arteta's men the lead with an embarrassing own-goal.
