How Ramsdale was attacked
According to The Mirror, Ramsdale turned to Tottenham supporters and kissed the Arsenal badge, sparking a confrontation from Richarlison.
And as the Gunners keeper approached the advertising boards to collect his stuff, including a water bottle, a Tottenham fan made his way down and appeared to kick out at the England international.
The incident sparked mayhem involving both sets of players and staff, with Mikel Arteta forced to intervene.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Ramsdale divulged that he had been involved in some friendly banter with home supporters throughout the match before things went south.
"The Spurs fans were giving me some stick in the second half so I was giving them some back," Ramsdale conceded.
"Then a fan tried to jump over and give me a little punch in the back. That’s what happened and it’s a shame because it is just a game of football at the end of the day," he added.
