Ian Wright wary of Harry Kane

Be that as it may, Metro UK reports that Ian Wright has expressed fear about the threat that Harry Kane poses ahead of the north London derby.

Speaking ahead of the clash, the former Arsenal star joked that his former side are already a goal down specifically because of Kane.

"I’m nervous. For me, this is a game Arsenal need to win. In a season where Arsenal are striving to win the title, I believe they need to win this game. And it’s against our biggest rivals," Wright told Ringer FC Podcast.
"We’re already going into the game 1-0 down because Harry Kane always scores against us," he continued.

Kane boasts an incredible record against the Gunners, having scored 14 goals in 18 games against their north London rivals.

Conte tipped for sack

Earlier, Sports Brief reported former Watford striker Troy Deeney has tipped Antonio Conte to be sacked if he loses against Arsenal.

Arsenal have only lost once in the league this season, against Manchester United.

The league leaders come up against local rivals Tottenham on Sunday, January 15 in what will likely be a fiery clash.

Conte has had mixed fortunes with Tottenham this season, and his side sits fifth on the log, while Arsenal are runaway leaders.
