Patrice Evra Identifies in Form Man United's Biggest Flaw Ahead of Derby

Former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra has expressed concern about the club’s inability to control games ahead of the Manchester derby.

Despite the club’s decent form, Evra is worried his former side may not have the stuff to dominate City, who won 6-3 in the reverse fixture.

“I think United are now more consistent, I expect this season to be like a rollercoaster but at the moment we have more ups than downs,” Evra, who won five Premier League titles at United told Betfair, cited on Express Sport.

 “There are two things that I still don't like about United, the first is they aren't clinical enough and secondly they aren't in charge, they aren't in control.

“Maybe the team isn't ready yet to be in control for 90 minutes or even 70 minutes. When we play against teams, yes we're winning, but we still aren't in control and this is dangerous, especially when you play against teams like Man City.

One stat that could give Erik Ten Hag’s side an edge over City is that they have won all eight consecutive games at Old Trafford in all competitions. This could give a pointer that perhaps the fear factor in the stadium for opponents may be coming back.
