Netherlands winger, Memphis Depay is on the verge of leaving Barcelona in the January transfer window to join La Liga rivals, Atletico Madrid.
Atletico are desperate to sign a winger to replace Joao Felix, who joined Chelsea on a six-month loan deal, and has identified Depay as the perfect candidate.
According to Barca Universal, Depay is open to joining La Rojiblancos this January on a six-month loan deal, with his contract with Barcelona set to expire in the summer.
Atletico Madrid has intensified negotiations with La Blaugrana for the Dutch winger, as they have now shown concrete interest in the attacker - more than his other suitors.

Depay has endured a difficult season at Barcelona and has fallen behind the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Ansu Fati, Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha and Ferran Torres in the pecking order.
Xavi unsure of Depay deal
Meanwhile, Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernandez has revealed he has no idea about the potential departure of Depay to the Spanish capital, SB Nation reports.
Atletico Madrid has intensified their pursuit of the Netherlands winger and are now involved in active talks with the Catalans over a deal.
Xavi had previously stated that he would be happy if his current squad remained intact, as he is not keen to offload any of his current players.
Atletico enters race for Depay
Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Atletico Madrid offering Barcelona forward Depay a lifeline, by possibly taking the winger on loan for the next six months.
Depay has had limited games under coach Xavi Hernandez, and the Dutch international is now being considered for a surprise move from the Catalan side to the Spanish capital.
The Dutch forward, who has reportedly been looking to leave Camp Nou for some time, will see his contract with the Spanish giants expire in the summer.
