  • Arsenal's Eddie Nketiah is currently enjoying life in his starting role at the club
  • The striker has turned up for the Gunners with goals in Gabriel Jesus' absence
  • Nketiah is not only turning up on the pitch but with his fashion and sleek rides

Arsenal striker, Eddie Nketiah is trusted by head coach, Mikel Arteta for the starting spot in the absence of Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus, who got injured at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

There were concerns about whether the 23-year-old would step up in the absence of the former Manchester City striker, but if his stats since club football returned after the World Cup are anything to go by, the Gunners have no worries up front.

The British-Ghanaian forward is not only stepping up on the pitch, he is also stylish off the field of play, constantly flaunting his fashion sense and choice of vehicles on social media.

Is Nketiah Arsenal's most stylish?

Nketiah renewed his contract at the end of last season and according to the Sun, signed a five-year contract to pocket a whopping £100,000 per week - more than double his previous salary.

He is known to be a fashionista and with an improved contract, the forward has stepped up his fashion game with classy outfits and automobiles.

Among others, Nketiah has been seen driving a £150,000 Mercedes-Benz G-Class AMG.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Hector Bellerin were two of the most fashionable Gunners stars before they both departed London, with Nketiah possibly taking up their fashion icon mantle, according to Ghana Soccernet.

He has scored four goals in five games since club football returned after the World Cup break, as he continues to deputise for the injured Gabriel Jesus.

Xhaka backs Nketiah to step up

The striker's form for the Gunners in place of former Manchester City man, Gabriel Jesus does not come as a surprise. As earlier reported by Sports Brief, Granit Xhaka backed Nketiah to step up.

The Swiss midfielder promised that the team would do everything possible to get the best out of the former Leeds United striker, as Arsenal continues the chase for a first Premier League title since 2004.

Jesus could return from injury as early as February depending on his recovery, and Mikel Arteta's team has placed the majority of their interest in winger, Mykhaylo Mudryk.
