Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup continues to live in our hearts and is one Lionel Messi will reminisce about for the rest of his life. It was his crowning moment as he won the only trophy left in his career.

It was Argentina's first triumph since Diego Maradona helped win the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. Most of the celebrations were similar to 36 years ago in Mexico including Messi being carried around in the stadium.

A new celebration has now been born with kids in Argentina celebrating birthday replicating the wearing of the Bisht as well as Lionel Messi's slow dance to hoist the trophy in front of his waiting teammates.

World Cup themed birthday celebration

As reported by Al Jazeera, the Qataris wore the Bisht on the Argentina captain as a sign of honour and respect for his career, as well as winning football's ultimate trophy.

The wearing of the cloak on the former Barcelona captain generated criticisms from the media and fans, with many claiming it shows a cultural fault, as reported by CNN, but it is now an inspiration to children.

According to a video posted on Twitter by ESPN FC, children were seen wearing the country's jersey and the celebrant wearing a bisht replica and lifting a World Cup trophy replica in front of friends to celebrate her birthday.

Gvardiol: Argentina's Messi is different

Croatia and RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol is still feeling the effect of his encounter with Lionel Messi in the semi-final of the World Cup, which Argentina won 3-0.

Messi made light work of the highly rated young defender by outrunning, outmuscling and dribbling past him to create the champions third goal for Manchester City star Julian Alvarez.

As earlier revealed by Sports Brief, Gvardiol said Messi is different for Argentina and recalled not having problems dealing with the PSG star when they met in the UEFA Champions League a season ago.
